Next election to be one of Bangladesh’s toughest: Tarique Rahman

The upcoming national election will be one of the toughest tests in Bangladesh's history, BNP acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has said.

Speaking at a virtual meeting with party leaders and workers from Rajshahi division on Friday, he called on party members to work together and rise above any doubts or divisions.

The BNP acting chairman stressed that the BNP relies on public support for electoral success. "The party must maintain the trust it has built over the last 17 years despite enduring many hardships," he said.

He also called on grassroots leaders and activists not to take actions that could undermine public confidence, stressing the need to remain united and engaged with the people.
