A 32-year-old day labourer has been killed after a trolley truck hit him from the rear side at Daroani area in Nilphamari Sadar upazila on Sunday.
The accident occurring around 12 pm left Milon Islam of Kukhapara village dead on the spot, said eye witnesses.
Officer-in-Charge of Nilphamari Sadar station, Babul Akhter confirmed the news saying the vehicle was seized after the incident.
A local news agency report says that a case is being filled in this connection.
