Nine-member constitution reform commission formed

The interim government has announced the official formation of a nine-member reform commission to provide recommendations on overhauling the country’s constitution.

In this regard,  a  notification issued on Monday, according to local media report.

The notification was ordered by President Mohammed Shahabuddin and signed by Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain.

The commission would prepare its report on recommendations within 90 days starting 6 October and submit it to the Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus, as per the notification.
