No legal scope to send Khaleda abroad for treatment: Law minister

Law Minister Anisul Huq has said there is no scope to permit BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to go abroad for treatment as per the law under which the former prime minister has been allowed to stay at home, instead of prison.

After attending an event at the Judicial Administration Training Institute in the capital on Sunday, the minister told journalists that no application had been filed to take Khaleda Zia abroad so far.
