North Korea has closed down its embassy in Bangladesh amid a spate of closures of DPRK’s embassies around the world.
Recently, the country communicated with Bangladesh’s foreign ministry about the closure of its embassy in Dhaka through a note verbal. North Korean officials stationed in Dhaka left Bangladesh on November 21.
According to local news portals, North Korea will maintain relations with Bangladesh through its embassy in India’s New Delhi.
Recently, North Korea closed its embassies in Spain, Hong Kong, Uganda, Angola and Nepal.
It is mentionable that Bangladesh does not have its mission in North Korea and maintains its ties with North Korea through its embassy in China.
