Nurse ‘raped’ by clinic manager in Magura

A nurse of a private clinic was allegedly raped by the manager in Stadium Para area of Magura district town on Sunday night.

Saidur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Magura Police Station, said they received a written complaint against Achinta Sarkar, the clinic manager.

Achinta raped the nurse at her house around 10:00pm and captured the incident on his phone, according to the complaint filed by the victim.

He also threatened to release the video on the internet if she talks about the incident, the victim alleged, reports UNB.

Khandaker Farhar Ahmed, chief of Magura Private Clinic Association, said allegations of sexual harassment had been raised against Achinta in the past.
