Former History Professor of Dhaka College and ex-government officer S M Saifuddin passed away at private hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday (Inna lillahiwainnailaihiraji'un.)
Lastly, he served the government of Bangladesh as secretary of the UNESCO Commission of Bangladesh. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, and a son.
The namaz-e-janaza for Mr Saifuddin took place at Gulshan Azad Masjid following the Asar prayer on today (April 18), while the Qulkhani and Dua will be conducted at Gulshan Shooting Club, Gulshan-1, after the Asar prayer on Saturday (April 20).
