A young man was killed and two other people were injured as an auto-rickshaw overturned after being hit by a truck at Kutupalong in Ukhia upazila on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Ridwan Arif, 26, a resident of Inani village.
Abul Khayer, officer-in-charge of Ukhia Police Station, said that the accident took place around 9:15 am when the auto-rickshaw overturned on the road after being hit by the truck, leaving Ridwan dead on the spot and two others injured, reports UNB.
