The metro rail works on the Motijheel to Kamalapur section is around 30.05 per cent complete, according to the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL).
Metro rail authorities hope to inaugurate this section in June 2025.
As of February 29, 2024, the overall work on the Uttara North to Kamalapur section of MRT Line-6 is reported to be completed 99.80 per cent, according to the website.
Out of 172 piles, 167 have been completed, while construction of 29 pile caps out of 61 are done.
Also, the construction of 12 piers out of 39, and 271 precast segments out of 305 has been completed, according to DMTCL figures.
Moreover, out of 30 station columns, 14 have been completed.
