Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will visit Bangladesh next month at the invitation of his Bangladeshi counterpart.
According to The Express Tribune, Ishaq Dar gave the information at a news conference on Thursday.
Ishaq Dar’s upcoming trip to Dhaka will be the first visit by any Pakistani foreign minister since 2012.
The foreign minister also said Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus also accepted Pakistan's invitation to travel to Islamabad at mutually agreed dates.
The report said Hina Rabbani Khar was the last foreign minister who travelled to Dhaka to extend the D-8 summit.
