Petition moves High Court to reform secondary education
The petition seeks suspension of the new curriculum

A lawyer has presented a petition to the High Court calling for reforms to the secondary education system and for the new curriculum to be implemented in 2025 to be suspended.
Supreme Court Advocate Kamrul Hasan filed the petition in the national interest on Tuesday.
The education secretary, chairman of the National Textbook and Curriculum Board, the director general of the Secondary and Higher Education Directorate and the secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education have been named as the respondents to the petition.
The petition may be heard by the bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Muhammad Mahbub Ul Islam, the petitioning lawyer said.
