Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday gave financial assistance of a total of Tk 20 million (Tk 2.07 crore) to 10 persons to meet expenses for their treatment and livelihood.
The premier handed over the cheques for the donation among the persons and their family members at her office this morning, PM’s Speech Writer Md Nazrul Islam said.
The recipients included freedom fighters, political and cultural activists as well as one who was injured in the 21st August grenade attack, reports BSS.
