PM orders release of all students detained amid Anti-Discrimination Movement

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered the release of all students detained by law enforcement agency personnel amid the ongoing Anti-Discrimination Student Movement. 

She gave the order in a meeting with the central leaders of the Professional Coordination Council at Ganobhaban on Saturday, local media report. 

The directives came a day after the announcement of a countrywide non-cooperation movement from Sunday and processions across the country on Saturday protesting deadly attacks on rallies of the protesters.
