The members of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have arrested 77 persons on charges of keeping a huge quantity of drugs.
The law enforcers conducted a citywide anti-drug drive in the last 24 hours till 6:00am today, reports BSS.
During the drive they seized 16,994 pieces contraband yaba tablets, 840 gram heroin, around 3 kilograms cannabis, 125 bottles of phensidyl, and 152 pieces of seductive injections during the drive.
Separate cases were lodged against the arrestees to this end.
