Police arrest a suspected robber with arms in Lakshmipur

Police during a drive arrested a suspected robber along with arms and bullet from Bhatiyalpur area of Ramganj upazila in Lakshmipur Monday morning.

The arrestee, Md Nasir is a son of Nur Mohammad, hailing from Mahdebpur village in Chatkhil upazila of Noakhali district.

Md Tota Miah, officer-in-charge of Ramganj Police Station, said acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive in the morning and arrested him along with a LG and four rounds of cartridge, according to UNB.

Nasir was accused in several cases including murder and robbery, said the OC.
