Police arrested a man in connection with killing his wife at Churamoni of Satkhania upazila in Chattogram on Saturday.
Rokeya Begum, 22, was allegedly killed at her in-laws' house by her husband Parvej at Eochia village of the upazila on Friday night over dowry.
Rafiqul Hossain, officer-in-charge of Satkania Police Station, said being informed by local, police recovered the body of Rokeya from the house on the night.
The law enforcers arrested M Parvej, son of Mohammad Solaiman, in connection with the killing of his wife from Churamoni village of Satkhania upazila at noon.
Mohiuddin, elder brother of the victim, alleged that the family members of Parvaj used to torture her sister for dowry since their marriage three months back.
Mohiuddin filed a murder case with Satkhania Police Station, reports BSS.
