Police arrest two with arms at Benapole

Police arrested Two people along with firearms from Navaron Burujbagan area on Beanpole-Jessore Highway under Sharsha upazila of Jessore early Friday.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the area and arrested Saifuzzaman, 30, son of Fajar Ali and Abu Hikam, son of Amirul Islam, a resident of Navaron Burujbagan village, said Mosiur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Sharsha police station.

Later, police recovered one pistol and two rounds of bullets searching their bodies.

A case was registered.
