Police arrested on Saturday two persons with 390 bottles of foreign wine from Gulshan area in the capital.
The arrestees are Abdul Quddus Ali (28) and Jahid Bali alias Apu (40).
Deputy Police Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) Muhammad Talebur Rahman said that a team of Gulshan Police during a raid at Gulshan Circle No. Two, Road No. 112 at around 3:55 am on Saturday arrested the two persons and recovered the said quantity of foreign wine.
He said that a jeep used for transporting wine was also seized.
A case was filed with the Gulshan Police Station against the two arrestees and other absconding persons.
