Police arrested three young men from different areas of Chuadanga district town in connection with the killing of a school boy.
The arrestees were identified as Sumon, 18, son of Makbul Hossain, Iraq, 17, son of Mirajul Islam and Farhad, 20, son of Fuad Hossain.
In a confessional statement, the trio told police that they hacked dead Subhash Kumar Sadhukha, 17, son of Ganesh Chandra Sadhukha, in a bid to take his mobile phone and money to buy drugs for them, UNB reports.
Police recovered the body from 'Sahittyo Parishad' beside Panna Cinema Hall in the district town on October 25, said Delwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Chuadanga Police Station.
