Police arrested a young man along with 1,200 contraband Yaba pills from Belal Bazar area in Gomostapur upazila of Chapainawabganj district on Friday.
The arrestee is Rubel Islam, 29, son of Enamul Haque of Dahapara village in Shibganj upazila, reports UNB.
Jashimuddin, officer-in-charge of Gomostapur Police Station, said tipped off, they raided a hotel in Belal Bazar area around 12:15 am and arrested Rubel along with the Yaba pills.
A case was filed with Gomostapur Police Station.
