The mutilated body of a woman has been recovered from her home in Ashulia on the outskirts of the capital Dhaka, according to bdnews24.com. Police said the body was shredded into 35 pieces and dumped into a plastic barrel in the Jamgora neighbourhood on Friday. The woman was yet to be identified, said Ashulia police's Sub-Inspector Malay Kumar Saha. “She appeared young.” He said they collected evidence, including the murder weapon -- a knife, from the crime scene. Quoting locals, the officer said a couple lived as tenants in the house owned by expatriate Masud Mia. He said they suspected the husband might have murdered the woman and fled from the scene. Neighbours told police that the house was locked for two days and they reported to the local police station after the air was filled with stench coming from the house late Friday
