Police recover body of ‘drug pedlar’ in Rajshahi

Police recovered the bullet-riddled body of a suspected drug pedlar from Safina Park area at Godagari upazila of Rajshahi on Tuesday morning.

The dead man was identified as Moti, 40, son of Syed Ali of Madarpur village and accused in several drug related cases.

Jahangir Alam, officer-in-charge of Godagari Police Station, said that local people spotted the body near a pond at the village in the morning and informed police, as per a UNB report.

The body was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for autopsy, it bore bullet marks on the left side of chest, said the OC.
