Locals found an unidentified young man dead under a bridge on Dhaka-Aricha highway early Sunday.
“Local peoplespotted the body of a man, who was beaten and hacked to death, lying under a bridge of the highway in the morning, said police.
Later, police recovered the body, aged around 32, and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy, reports UNB.
A murder case was filed, said sub-inspector Nurul Mia of Savar Model Police Station, adding that investigation is going on to find out the reasons behind the killing.
