Politically motivated cases to be withdrawn within 7 days: Asif Nazrul

Nearly 2,500 politically motivated cases will be withdrawn within the next seven days, Law Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul has announced.

He made the announcement during an exchange of views with journalists at the Ministry of Law's conference room in the Secretariat.

The adviser also stated that efforts are underway to review and annul cases filed under the Cyber Security Act.
