BNP has announced a month-long programme to mark the first anniversary of the July-August Uprising.
Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programmes while speaking at a press conference at the party's Nayapaltan central office in the capital on Thursday.
BNP will commemorate the 'July-August Uprising' through at least 22 different events, including discussion, blood donation, graffiti, street plays, football tournaments, programmes on child rights, public awareness activities to prevent dengue and corona.
A discussion with the participation of all political parties and families of those killed and injured in the July-August Uprising will be held at the China Friendship Conference Center on July 1st.
The programmes also include BNP acting Chairman Tarique Rahman's view exchange meeting with families of those killed and injured in the July-August Uprising, nationwide blood donation, seminar, cultural programme, display of fascist cartoons.
There will be a student rally at the Central Shaheed Minar organised by Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal on August 3. And on August 6 victory procession will be organised centrally by BNP's organs and affiliates.
