BNP broadly attacking police, says Quader

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has accused opposition BNP, including its secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, of broadly attacking police.

‘They have such plans against the army too. We need to consider if this widespread attempt to label us as corrupt is a conspiracy to overthrow the Awami League,” he told a rally at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh, in Dhaka, marking the party’s 75th anniversary, on Friday.

Awami League Presidium members Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury and Jahangir Kabir Nanak, among others, attended the event.
