BNP has called an emergency meeting scheduled to take place at the chairperson’s political office in Gulshan at 8:30pm on Friday.
It also postponed two programmes set for today, citing the “overall situation” in the country,
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir’s programme at Sech Bhaban on Manik Mia Avenue, scheduled for 3:00pm, has been postponed.
Another programme by Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi in front of WASA Bhaban in Karwan Bazar, set for 4:00pm, has also been postponed “for the time being,” according to a BNP source.
