BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed has said their party doesn’t want removal of President Mohammed Shahabuddin at this moment

He said, “We may witness a constitutional crisis if the post of the president becomes vacant. It may delay next general election. For this reason, the BNP doesn’t want the removal of the president at this moment.

The former state minister also urged all to remain vigilant so that the collaborators of ousted fascists can utilize the issue as part of their conspiracy.
