Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu said Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has failed to form an election -time supportive government in the last eight years.
"BNP is acting like 2014 when they killed people by petrol bombs and launched sabotage across the country in the name of caretaker government" the minister added.
Inu came up with the remarks while replying the questions of journalists at Kushtia Circuit House on Sunday morning after exchanging views with his party men.
In a reply over Dhaka North City Corporation Hasanul Haq Inu said govt. is not afraid of election. He also said all the election of local bodies would be held in time as per constitution, according to BSS report.
District Joint General Secretary of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal Zillur Rahman and president of Mirpur Upazila JSD Ahmed Ali were present.
