BNP holds special du'a mahfil in Gopalganj

A milad mahfil, special du'a and discussion were held at the house of Oliur Rahman Howladar, General Secretary of Kotalipara Municipal unit of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) of the district last evening (Friday) marking the 80th birth anniversary of former prime minister and BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) of Kotalipara upazila BNP of the district arranged the milad mahfil, du'a and discussion. A large number of people from all walks of life including BNP leaders and workers joined milad, du'a mahfil and discussion last evening.

Upazila BNP President SM Mohiuddin presided over the discussion.

Upazila BNP General Secretary Abul Bashar Howladar, its Joint General Secretary Rafiqul Islam Howladar, Organizational Secretary Faykuzzaman Sheikh, Municipal BNP President Yusuf Ali Dariya, it's General Secretary Oliur Rahman Howladar, Upazila Jatiotabadi Jubo Dal Convening Committee Member Secretary Mannan Sheikh, upazila Swechasebak Dal convening committee member secretary Masud Talukdar, upazila Chhatra Dal convening committee member secretary Niloy Howladar, senior leaders of BNP and allied organisations, among others, spoke.

The milad mahfil was followed by a special prayer seeking divine blessings of Almighty Allah for the early recovery and long life of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and all the martyrs killed in the recent anti-discrimination student movement.
