BNP to welcome ‘socially acceptable’ Awami League supporters: Amir Khasru

BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has said they will welcome ‘socially acceptable’ Awami League supporters to join their party.

However, he said they will not accept the people who hindered BNP’s activities and committed various crimes, including extortion, terrorism, or corruption, in the past.

The BNP leader came up with the statement at a programme as the chief guest at Kazir Dewri Nasiman Bhaban in Chattogram on Saturday. The programme was arranged to mark the start of the BNP membership form distribution and renewal.

Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury gave guidelines on membership form distribution and renewal programme, including arranging such programme in the open and in daylight instead of secretive practices.
