BNP will distribute leaflets on Sunday and Monday across the country urging people to boycott the upcoming parliamentary election, slated for January 7, 2024.
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, BNP’s senior joint secretary general, announced the programme on Saturday as part of the party’s ongoing non-cooperation movement, according to news portals.
On December 20, the BNP and its like-minded parties announced a non-cooperation movement to press home their demand for a neutral polls-time government.
Earlier, the parties started a mass campaign on December 26 and continued till Saturday with an extension to garner public support for the boycott of the upcoming election.
