Chhatra League activists 'attack' Chhatra Dal leaders at Dhaka University

At least seven activists of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) were injured in an attack allegedly by Chhatra League (BCL) men on the Dhaka University campus on Tuesday.

Some activists of BCL attacked JCD activists when they tried to enter the campus through "Gonotontro O Mukti Toron" gate at Nilkhet point to submit a memorandum to the VC on various problems of the university and different dormitories, said witnesses.

According to UNB, a JCD team was supposed to meet the Vice Chancellor at his office around 4.15 pm.

BCL also declared a programme to meet the VC at his office at 3:00 pm to talk about the food quality of hall canteens.

BCL activists started gathering at different points of the campus in the morning to prevent JCD leaders and activists from entering the campus.
