Don’t harass innocent people to increase number of arrests, Quader says

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has urged authorities concerned not to harass innocent people and students while taking actions against those involved in violence centring quota reform protests.

The road transport and bridges minister came up with statement at a press briefing after a joint meeting at the party's Bangabandhu Avenue central office on Tuesday.

Citing a directive of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Obaidul Quader requested the home minister to ensure the matter.
