EASD survey finds 70pc of voters intend to support BNP in parliamentary polls

A public opinion poll has found that 70 percent of the electorate across the country intends to vote for the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in the parliamentary elections.
A private organisation named Eminence Associates for Social Development (EASD) conducted the survey.
On Monday, the organisation presented the findings at a media briefing, chaired by its Advisor Kazi Saifuddin Bennur, accompanied by Chief Executive Officer Shamim Haider Talukdar.
The organisation subsequently issued a press note providing further details of the study.
EASD said that the survey was conducted between Dec 20, 2025 and Jan 1 this year.
Data was collected using a random sampling method from 684 unions and wards across all 300 parliamentary constituencies. In total, the opinions of 20,495 voters were recorded.
