Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson for Inqilab Manch, is currently admitted to the Critical Care Unit at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka after being seriously injured in a shooting by criminals. His physical condition remains extremely critical.
According to a medical board statement released on Saturday (December 13), Hadi has suffered severe brain damage and has injuries to his lungs. However, his kidney function has now returned.
The medical board, formed with specialist doctors from various departments to oversee Hadi's treatment, stated that the gunshot victim has sustained serious brain damage.
Since surgical intervention has already been completed, he is currently being managed with conservative treatment. All necessary support will continue following brain protection protocols. Once his physical condition stabilises somewhat, another CT scan of the brain may be performed.
The medical team continues to monitor his condition closely as he fights for recovery in the hospital's intensive care unit.
