Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Parwar has said that his party would unveil its election manifesto as soon as the national parliamentary elections schedule is announced.
Speaking to the press on Friday morning, Parwar called for the elections to be held within a "reasonable timeframe," underlining that the party is ready to present its plans for the future once the election timeline is set, UNB reports.
Parwar made the remarks after attending the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Kushtia district branch members' conference, held at the Abdul Wahid Hall Room of Haji Shariat Ullah Orphanage along the Kushtia-Rajbari Highway. He reiterated the party's readiness to actively engage in the electoral process and make its vision for the nation clear through the manifesto.
The conference, which aimed to strengthen local party structures, was chaired by Kushtia district Jamaat Ameer Professor Abul Hashem and conducted by Kushtia District Secretary Suja Uddin Joarder.
