BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, now in London, on Thursday sent an Eid greeting card to Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the occasion of Holy Eid-ul-Azha.
Sheikh Hasina also sent Khaleda a similar card on Wednesday on the occasion.
On behalf of Khaleda, three BNP assistant office secretaries, led by Taiful Islam Tipu, handed over the card to ex-Awami League assistant office secretary Sikandar Ali at the party president’s Dhanmondi office around 12 noon.
Taiful Islam Tipu said their chairperson wished AL President Hasina a happy Eid-ul-Azha.
"We've handed over an Eid greeting card to her Dhanmondi office on behalf of our leader," he added, according to UNB.
