The health condition of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia has shown no improvement, and she remains in a critical state, said the party’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
He disclosed the information at an emergency press conference held today (Sunday) at the BNP’s central office in Naya Paltan, Dhaka.
Rizvi said that there has been no change in Khaleda Zia’s physical condition.
Regarding sending her abroad for treatment, he stated that the medical board has not yet provided any recommendation.
“No decision can be made without the board’s advice,” he added.
Considering Khaleda’s health condition, BNP has postponed all programmes scheduled for December, Rizvi said.
The party has also urged the people of the country to pray for her recovery.
