Nagorik Oikya Convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna was hospitalised following a heart attack on Saturday night.
Manna’s personal physician Dr Shoaib Mahmud said the politician was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
Shakib Anwar, the organising secretary of Nagorik Oikya, said the doctors have kept Manna at the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of BSMMU following his admission. A medical board held a meeting over his illness.
