BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir cast his vote on Thursday morning.
He cast his vote at Thakurgaon Government Girls’ High School centre around 7:40 am.
Meanwhile, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is scheduled to cast his vote at the Gulshan Model School and College centre in the capital.
Tarique is expected to cast his vote between 9:30 am and 10:00 am, said Shamsuddin Didar, a member of the BNP chairperson’s media wing.
