Achim Tröster, outgoing German ambassador to Bangladesh, has paid a courtesy call to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
The meeting took place at 8:30 pm on Friday at the BNP leader's residence ‘Feroza’ in Gulshan area of Dhaka, the party’s standing committee member AZM Zahid Hossain said.
“The German ambassador in Dhaka and his spouse came to meet Madam Khaleda Zia. They inquired about her health,” he added.
BNP Standing Committee member Abdul Moyeen Khan was also in attendance.
