Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the nation on Thursday ahead of the 12th parliamentary elections, slated for January 7.
Awami League General Secretary and Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader gave the information at a press conference at the party president's office at Dhanmondi in the capital on Wednesday.
On the same day, Sheikh Hasina will hold her last election rally in Narayanganj, informed Obaidul Quader.
