Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) chief organiser (north) Sargis Alam and general secretary of Gano Odhikar Parishad. Rashed Khan posted a counter Facebook post.

After a post by Sargis Alam on Sunday, Rashed Khan replied in a post titled 'Reply to Shargis Alam's post' on Facebook on Monday evening.

Rashed Khan questioned why the government or the concerned ministry is not forming an investigation committee to investigate the allegations against Sargis Alam in his post, according to local media.

Demanding the formation of an investigation committee, he said, only after the investigation will it be known whether Sargis Alam is guilty or innocent.

Rashed Khan wrote that Sargis Alam called him a few days ago. "I had a conversation with him on the phone for more than an hour." Sargis regretted it. The gist of that conversation is that he (Rashed) is having a wrong idea about him. Sargis tried to correct his mistake and requested a positive post about him. Rashed said, "But I didn't. Because, there is enough evidence and information about the statements I have made. "

In the post, Rashed Khan claimed that Sargis confessed to his and Hasnat Abdullah, the main organiser of NCP's southern region, with Gazi Salahuddin Tanvir, who was accused of various corruption and irregularities.

"In the reference of both of them, the person involved in the DC recruitment scam (Tanvir) has secured important positions in the party of young people like NCP despite not playing an important role in the mass uprising," Rashed wrote.

Rashed also questioned with whose help the person accused in the DC recruitment scam got the opportunity to work in the National Curriculum, Textbook Board (NCTB).

Rashed Khan also wrote that it is the responsibility of his party and the government to investigate the allegations against Sarjis.

"... Why does he give so much shelter to the accused? With whose help did Tanvir enter the Secretariat and NCTB? Why is the government or the concerned ministry not forming an investigation committee to investigate these incidents? Only then will it be known whether Sargis Alam is guilty or innocent!"

Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) joint member secretary Gazi Salahuddin Tanvir was temporarily relieved from the party on April 21 following allegations of illegal interference in the appointment of DCs and commission-trading in NCTB textbook printing papers. Even before Rashed Khan's Facebook post on his alleged relationship with NCP chief (north) Sargis Alam, the two had spoken about the issue.
