The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Wednesday grated bail to BNP leader Aman Ullah Aman in a corruption case in which he was sentenced to 13 years' jail by a trial court.

Now there is no bar for him to walk out of jail, said his lawyer. However, the apex court imposed condition that Aman must take permission from court to go abroad.

A five-member bench of the Appellate Division of the SC headed by Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan passed the order.
