Tarique Rahman to visit Bogura, Rangpur on Jan 11

BNP leaders and activists say Acting Chairperson Tarique Rahman is preparing to visit Bogura on January 11.

The decision was taken at a meeting initiated by the Bogura district committee on Monday, said Kalam Azad, BNP spokesperson in charge of Rajshahi and Rangpur Divisions.

In addition to the district committee, leaders and activists of the Upazila and municipal committees were present at the meeting called by Bogura district BNP President Rezaul Karim Badshah.

A mass prayer will be organised for Khaleda Zia in Bogura on January 12.

After the programme, Tarique will go to Rangpur.

Azad told bdnews24.com, “When he goes to Rangpur, he will donate to the families of the three martyrs of the July Uprising and exchange greetings with them.”
