Travel pass for Tarique possible within a day if he wishes to return: Foreign adviser

The interim government can issue a travel pass for the Acting BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman within a single day if he wishes to return to the country, said Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain.
He stated that there are no obstacles preventing his return.
The adviser made the remarks today (Sunday) while responding to questions from journalists at an event organized by the Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) at the National Press Club.
He further said that if Khaleda Zia wishes to go abroad for medical treatment, the interim government will provide all necessary assistance.
Earlier on Saturday, Tarique Rahman, in a post on his verified Facebook page, said the decision to return to the country is not entirely his to make.
