Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus is scheduled to meet with leaders of the National Citizen Party (NCP) and Jamaat-e-Islami as part of the ongoing political dialogue ahead of the upcoming 13th national election.

The head of the interim government will hold talks with an NCP delegation at 5:15pm on Wednesday, followed by a meeting with a Jamaat delegation at 6pm, the Chief Advisor's Office (CAO) said in a statement.

The meetings come a day after the chief advisor's dialogue with a three-member delegation from the BNP at his official residence, the State Guest House Jamuna.

During Tuesday's meeting, Yunus assured the party that any transfer or posting within the administration prior to the elections would be directly supervised by him.

A statement issued by the CAO said Yunus also discussed the government’s preparations for the upcoming national elections, scheduled for February 2026, with BNP leaders in detail.

The upcoming meetings will focus on pre-election administrative preparations, the political environment, and ensuring impartiality during the polls, the CAO said.
