President Mohammed Shahabuddin and Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus have expressed condolence over the death of former president AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury.
In a message on Saturday, the president expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Badruddoza Chowdhury, according to BSS.
The head of the state described the death of Badruddoza Chowdhury as an irreparable loss to the country's political arena.
He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
In a separate message, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul of the former president, veteran politician and parliamentarian AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury.
Prof Badruddoza Chowdhury passed away while undergoing treatment at a city hospital early hours of Saturday at the age of 94.
