

President Mohammad Shahabuddin reached his home district of Pabna on Saturday morning for a two-day official visit.
The President landed at Pabna Stadium by helicopter at 9:40 am, where he was received by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mofizul Islam and Pabna Police Superintendent Mortoza Ali Khan.
A guard of honour was presented to the President at the Pabna Circuit House, according to a UNB report.
During his visit, the President is scheduled to visit the graves of his parents at Arifpur graveyard in Pabna Sadar around 11:00 am to offer prayers. He will then head to his ancestral home in the Jubilee Tank area of Kalachandpara in Pabna town, where he will spend time with relatives at around 1 pm.
The President will stay overnight at the Circuit House.
On the second day of the visit, another guard of honor will be held at the Circuit House at 10:45 am. The President is expected to depart for Dhaka from Pabna Stadium at 11:00 am.
Strict security measures have been implemented around the stadium, Circuit House, Arifpur graveyard, and his residence in light of the visit.
